Scholarship
The D. E. Smith Institutional Excellence Scholarship is geared towards senior high school, community college and undergraduate students that have overcome adversity, as it relates to a chronic illness/disease, such as sickle cell anemia, physical disabilities and/or psychological conditions. In addition, the awardee must demonstrate a passion to serve in their community. In short, this monetary opportunity is designed to recognize students with special needs who are of good standing in school and in their communities. Recipients will receive a $1000 scholarship for their future academic pursuits.
Who Should Apply?

Currently Enrolled Senior High School, Community College and Undergraduate Students

Scholars Maintaining Minimum GPA of 3.0

Person Dealing with Adverse Circumstances (Chronic Illness/Disease, Physical Disability, Psychological Condition)
