Fundraising For A Cause
February 23rd - July 3rd

The fundraiser is an annual event to solicit monetary donations to support services provided by D. E. Smith Institutional Excellence (DESIE).  More specifically, these monetary resources will allow obtainment of supplies to conduct academic and professional development activities with youth ranging from 6 to 18 years of age.  Additionally, the organization can support personnel leading community engagements, as it relates to science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics education, mentorship, promoting entrepreneurship, establishing a sense of belonging and positive mental/physical health, understanding the importance of stewardship and "best practices" to successfully prepare for "top tier" universities/colleges.  The non-profit also supports the youth by providing $1000 scholarship(s), annually, for individuals that strive to overcome adversity, excel academically and serve their community.  Thus, we need your help!

We need your assistance in reaching our fundraising goal of $20,000, this year.  All contributions to the non-profit are tax deductible and will go towards supporting our efforts to improving the success of our youth, academically, mentally and professionally.  Our services holistically focus on the next generation of leaders to increase their confidence and empower them with knowledge.  Subsequently, making the world more beautiful by broadening the intellectual diversity.

Side Note: While D. E. Smith Institutional Excellence will have an annual fundraising initiative from February 23rd to July 3rd, contributions/donations can be given ANYTIME throughout the year.  In addition, you can give as many times, a year, as your heart desires!
